Blockbuster

During my four years at Blockbuster Online, I spent 2 years as the Art/Creative Director. During that time, I managed the Visual Design team responsible for creating and maintaining the aesthetic of Blockbuster’s online products. My primary role was to design, concept and oversee the quality of work produced aimed at increasing website retention/online subscriptions while reinforcing and enhancing the online brand strategy.

In addition to leading our team, I continued the responsibility as lead designer for the creative team. Web projects included two redesigns of the navigation structure, implementation of an entirely new color scheme for the entire website, several redesigns of the homepage to increase retention and subscription; as well as the creation of the gift subscription flow, Blockbuster deals page, enhanced footer, Blockbuster blog, marketing landing pages and countless updates and tweaks to existing pages on blockbuster.com.
